Awareness

International FASD Awareness Day – September 9, 2015

Each year September 9th is designated as International Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) Awareness Day. The goal of the day is to raise awareness about the dangers of drinking during pregnancy, promote prevention of alcohol-exposed pregnancies, and encourage support for individuals and families affected by FASD. However, anytime is a good time to raise awareness, provide education, and support families affected by FASD.
